JV coffee selection #2 Featuring Edgar Gutierrez Ricauter

13. August 2023 is the 6th anniversary of Apollon's Gold. To celebrate our anniversary, we are offering our very first collaboration coffees with our friend, a world class coffee expert, Jonathan Vaz Matias(a.k.a. JV coffee hunter). In the selection #2, we are featuring amazing Pacamara and Geisha from our mutual friend, Edgar Gutierrez Ricauter, owner of Corpachi farm and the processing manager of Ponderosa farm.

Today we are reviewing pour over of Planada which was roasted on 4.May.2023 This Geisha had been humble till 60 days post roast but now it's become quite flowery coffee with so complex and florals notes.

Tamiru Tadesse Tesema 74165 Review and New Profile is coming!

Finally posting about our favorite Ethiopia, Tamiru Tadesse Tesema! For sure this coffee is one of the best Ethiopia we've roasted as it's from the legendary producer, Tamiru Tadesse Tesema who won the COE 1st place and 5th place at a time and he won the 1st place with this cultivar, “74165”. Very recently (27.Apr), we started offering new profile version of this coffee, which accentuate its perfumed terroir more.
