Embracing Our Producers
We are delighted to introduce our esteemed partners, who we proudly consider our friends. Building strong relationships with our producers empowers us to consistently elevate the quality of our coffee to exceptional standards.
Mierisch Family
We cherish our enduring partnership with Fincas Mierisch, a renowned coffee farm from Nicaragua that has been with us since the beginning. Fincas Mierisch is celebrated for their dedication to cultivating high-quality coffee beans as well as their passion for exploring diverse coffee cultivars. They have consistently excelled in competitions, earning recognition for their exceptional varieties. We are immensely proud to showcase their remarkable coffees.
Pepe Jijon
Pepe Jijon, an acclaimed artisanal coffee producer from Ecuador, draws profound inspiration from the distinctive terroir of Imbabura. Since our partnership began in 2022 and officially launched in early 2023, Pepe Jijon has been our inaugural direct trade coffee collaborator. Some of the specialty coffee world's favorites, his coffees exemplify his legendary commitment and expertise, each cultivar a testament to his unwavering passion for excellence in coffee craftsmanship.
Jose Luis Eguiguren
One of our newest partners, Jose Luis of Hacienda Santa Gertrudis. Jose Luis consistently delivers high-quality coffee, focusing on authentic washed and honey process varieties. While he is recognized for his experimental coffees in collaboration with champion baristas, his commitment to these traditional methods stands out. His coffees expertly highlight the unique characteristics of each cultivar, making them a valuable addition to our offerings.
Jose Luiz Chevas
A promising young talent and passionate producer from Boquete, Panama, Jose's work came to our attention through a mutual friend, and we began our collaboration with him in 2023 during our anniversary event. Despite the Chevas Estate being relatively new, Jose's coffees already beautifully capture the soft, round, and vibrant terroir of Boquete. In recent times, sourcing classic Boquete Geishas has become challenging, which makes Jose's ability to produce both traditional and innovatively modern coffees at such a high caliber a fortunate opportunity for us.
Edgar Gutierrez
Edgar Gutierrez, both a processor and dedicated producer in Cordillera, Panama, is at the helm of Corpachi farm and oversees processing at Ponderosa farm. Introduced through a mutual connection, our initial sampling of his coffee in early 2021 left us captivated, and so upon recognizing his exceptional abilities, we forged a partnership in 2022. Edgar's renown stems from his exacting processing techniques and profound passion for coffee and cultivars, evident in the diverse array thriving on his farm and the consistently exceptional coffee he delivers.
Pablo Andres Guerrero
Our inaugural direct trade partnership in Colombia commenced with Pablo Andres Guerrero of Hacienda El Obraje. Located at an impressive altitude of 2200-2300 meters above sea level, Pablo’s farm garnered attention by clinching the top spot in the 2021 Cup of Excellence. Cultivating coffee at such elevations presents significant challenges, but these high-altitude beans are renowned for their unparalleled intensity in every cup. Hacienda El Obraje consistently produces exceptional washed coffees of outstanding quality.
Oscar and Luis Monge
Since 2018, our journey with Oscar and Luis has been a thrilling exploration. These brothers are true masters of soil, microbes, and microclimates—elements that wield profound influence over the coffee they cultivate. From the start, heir adventurous spirit in uncovering new plots throughout Costa Rica has resonated deeply with our own.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Oscar and Luis for sharing with us an exclusive lot from Pie San, a coffee that stands as one of our cherished favorites.
Alietta Family
Nestled in Costa Rica's West Valley, the Alietta family farm stands as a beacon of ambition and progress in coffee production. Collaborating closely with local institutes, they uphold rigorous standards to ensure quality and pioneer advancements in agriculture and science. Apollo's Gold proudly partners with them, exclusively offering their ETH47 cultivar since 2021, with optimism for the future of our collaborative efforts.
Eliyas Dukamo
A proud member of Ethiopia's esteemed Dukamo family, known for their coffee excellence, Eliyas previously worked alongside his brothers at Daye Bensa coffee. He then ventured out to establish his own export brand.
Despite being relatively new, Elto Coffee has quickly gained recognition for its exceptional quality. Rooted in the pristine terroir of the Bensa region, Eliyas’ coffee proudly showcases the unique character of the native cultivar, 74158, with each batch exemplifying his commitment to quality and celebrating the rich heritage of Ethiopian coffee.
