Our journey with Elto Coffee began in late 2022. It was during this time that Apollon’s Gold had just begun to conceptualize our direct trade initiative, seeking to forge deeper connections with coffee producers worldwide. This project is at the heart of what we do: bridging the gap between the rich, diverse terroirs of coffee’s origins and the global market, while honoring the communities that nurture these exceptional beans.
During a serendipitous meeting, Elias, the earnest and passionate producer behind Elto Coffee, emerged as a kindred spirit. A member of Ethiopia’s esteemed Dukamo family and former collaborator at Daye Bensa Coffee, Elias had ventured out to establish his own brand with a profound commitment to quality and a deep respect for the terroir. His approach was not about competition but about celebrating the unique character of his coffee, which resonated deeply with our values.
