READY TO BREW: LJZ Festival Surplus (30% OFF)

These special lots were originally prepared for hand-drip service at the LJZ Coffee Festival in Shanghai. However, due to the sudden cancellation of the event caused by an approaching typhoon, we hand-carried this remaining inventory directly back to Japan in our suitcases.

Roasted in early September, these coffees are now fully rested and perfectly degassed. Unlike our standard roast-to-order lineup that requires weeks of aging, this batch is entirely "READY TO BREW." You can experience their absolute peak flavor the exact moment they arrive at your door.

To ensure these beautiful coffees find a home and are enjoyed right away, we are offering this specific batch at a special 30% OFF. Stock is strictly limited to the tiny amount we could carry back. Ships immediately.

2023 COE 1st Place Farm: The Best High-Grown Geisha in 7 Years

We have been relentlessly chasing this coffee since we first tasted its 2023 crop—which famously took 1st Place at the 2023 Cup of Excellence. This year, our patience finally paid off, and we successfully secured a stunning, yet extremely limited, lot from Duberney Cifuentes at Finca Montreal.

This is the quintessential "Super High-Grown" Geisha. The extreme altitude translates into a cup profile of extraordinary clarity, intense aromatics, and a breathtakingly elegant acidity.

In the cup, it is ultra transparent, delivering crystal clear flavors that perfectly showcase its meticulous cultivation. Intense jasmine florals intertwine beautifully with notes of sweet muscat, all elegantly supported by a juicy cantaloupe body and a vibrant mandarine brightness.

We can confidently say this is the absolute best non-Panama Geisha we have encountered in the last 7 years. It is a true masterpiece of terroir and careful craftsmanship.

Our tasting notes:
