Degassing notice
We recommend degassing this coffee for at least 35 days, up to 70. Our coffees often peak around 45 days and 60 days post-roast and are best enjoyed from then until the 90 day mark.
Our omniroast style leads to abnormally long degassing times, but just trust us, once your coffee is degassed properly, you're in for a treat.
*Please make sure not to vacuum or freeze the coffees while it's degassed enough.
Fincas Mierisch
Erwin "Wingo" Mierisch
Yellow Pacamara - Natural
Nicaragua
This is another amazing coffee from our good friend Wingo of Fincas Mierisch, and one that we've been buying for years. And like the other coffees we have from them right now, we were blown away during cupping. We've had this coffee many times before, and it's always been a treat. It's one of Fincas Mierisch's iconic cultivars, and we've loved it for years. But this year's harvest, not only is it a treat, it's without a doubt the best harvest of this coffee we've ever tried. It may just be one of the best coffees we've had, ever.
In the cup you can expect sweet and juicy muscat and passionfruit, with orchid florals and a very sweet mangosteen aftertaste. This coffee is bursting with flavor, no matter how its brewed. And despite its natural process and natural-forward flavors, this coffee is incredibly clean, making it a truly a one-of-a-kind Pacamara.
