The first coffee from our dear friends, Mierisch family is San Jose Yellow Pacamara: a flag ship coffee from them!
San Jose farm and the Yellow Pacamara
Besides their globally renowned Santa Lucia farm in Honduras, San Jose is one of their most renowned farm. Thanks to the reflection from lake Apanas, there is very long daylight time in the San Jose farm(5:30AM-6:30PM). They started producing Yellow Pacamara since 2010 at the highest area of the San Jose farm. The San Jose Yellow Pacamara is known for its iconic flavors of passion fruit and muscat. This is our second purchase of their Yellow Pacamara, first time was pulped natural one back in 2018.

San Jose delights with its iconic green grape flavors, followed by juicy passion fruit balanced out with brown sugar sweetness.

Since this new profile, we pushed more body and sweetness forward over the Yellow Pacamara flavors. In the cup there were lots of gooseberry and bold sweetness of fig jam accompanied by lemongrass flavors from the cultivar and terroir throughout.
